Appoint other moderators.

Girls who they can trust, who have been on here a while, that can help them.

Girls who can be partial.....

Give them the power to edit, delete and move threads...... maybe even give some the power to IP ban.

It's worth a shot.

It might help with fake posters, and with drama.

Generally, when there is drama, it sticks to 1 thread, and, when that thread disappears, so does the drama.

Does anyone agree?

What about putting a button to REPORT a thread...that type of thing....so that the moderators can be alerted right away...

Good idea Amanda, but im not sure they will go for it. Anyway- we should all use the report 'exclaimation' thingy when drama ensues.

And i agree w/ the not posting about an eel sighting. It is fun and passes the time an dall, but..... I posted about one the other day then felt bad b/c what if it was a real bride or even one of our own incognito trying to get info w/o being found out. I agree that we shouldnt make a big deal about eels, just try and ignore them.

I am always weary anyway of fming my pricing info to a new posted only b/c it could bee an eel. But it is a very fine line between a newbie who deserves the info and an eel b/c obviously, we dont really know who we are talking to on here.

I could ba a 50 year old man from montana for all u girls know..lol

I agree but I believe the is public area so that is why it is the way it is. But I have alot of problems with fake posters on sending me FM trying to sell their products. Just beware.

Hmmm i say yes and no about whether its a good idea or not. I think it is a great idea but not sure how it would actually work out. I think as much as some would like to think they're biased, when a situation were to really occur i think they'd realize it wouldn't be that easy...If its a friend of theirs who is involved i think it would be hard not to take sides. That is why I know I wouldn't be able to do it. I mean what if my BM helen got into a big fight with someone on here. But just deleting a thread would be easy, so then you dont even have to get involved, so that part might work out great on here.

The whole banning IP addresses if people THINK there is an EAL is what im not sure about. Sorry but people have been wrong on here. One time everyone was being VERY rude to one girl when she first introduced herself and making alot of jokes about her, only for a former 06 bride with lots of posts coming on here to tell us it is her sister and she can't believe how she was treated and they made her run off and not come back on LIW. I would rather answer a post by an EAL, not a big deal rather than run off some real bride genuinely seeking help
