IF YOU GOT CAUGHT IN THE KAY-ANN BRIDAL BANKRUPTCTY, LIKE I DID. THEY ARE MUCH CHEAPER AND ARE SO WILLING TO HELP US GIRLS. MY GIRLS PAID $170 FOR A BILL LEVKOFF AND NOW IM GETTING IT FOR $115.

Just so you know...if you are talking about the Commack Wedding Center...
THEY ARE HORRIBLE...
They may have a great price on the dress but the service is TERRIBLE!
I suggest if you are getting any dresses there...GET THEM ALTERED ELSEWHERE!
I cannot express my utter disappointment in them!
I DEFINATELY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

We ordered dresses there for a friends wedding and with the except of one, all of our dresses were ordered WAY too big! The seamstress even admitted they often do that so they can charge the max in alterations... They were so big on most of us that they couldn't even fit them correctly to us and the tops were huge!!

I ordered my bridal gown from them last weekend. It was a good experience.
I'm not getting it altered there, they charge $250 just for the hem and bustle!

if that is really the case and they do that to me, I will have them order me the dress in the correct size, on THEM! The size I ordered is in the contract that I signed, so they are 100% liable if they screw up.

my friend knows the owner (she's in the 'wedding biz') so hopefully the good service I received last weekend will not end there. Like I said, I am not having it altered there anyway b/c they're too expensive.
To be honest, I really didn't save a whole lot off the retail price. I am very happy with the dress though. I tried on bout 15 gowns before I found 'the one' and the woman who helped me was very nice, patient and professional.

well like i said...GOOD LUCK. I met the owner in one of my utter fits there... HE was nice and accommodating but to be honest..them trying to make u for the stupidity was annoying I'd rather have the dress they way i want DONE RIGHT...then having the hassel they put people through
PLUS this is the BM department we are tlaking about.....NOT the wedding dresses

I do not recommend them..as Redhead ( one of my BM's) has said..they gave my girls the run around. The owner BS's like crazy! It's almost silly how he trys to convince you how great they are.
They ordered the wrong FG dress for one of my girls and it came in thankfully right bfore the wedding. I had MANY long conversations over the problems with the dresses, and the two BM's who had fittings with them hated them.
The price is good though..so my suggestion, order your dresses VERY early in case there is a problem, and do not get them altered there.
