I rsvped NO but now I can come???????

Are people retarded??? I have everything done seating arrangements, papers printed and set for rmy FINAL meeting tomorrow, favors all done and then I have 3 people call my mom and say oh we can come see you there??

Im flipping right now Im being a huge baby at the moment but I WAS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!! now I have to go buy 3 more bottles of wine rearrange seating arrangements and do everythig all over again. Today was my last day to relax and now no more relaxing

Im glad these people wanna spend my day with me but come on man!!!

Anyone else have last minute stragglers???

Join the club! I am in the same boat atm with my seating chart- we had two people that canceled due to illnesses so far and we're already under our 125 minimum!! At this rate we're hovering at 112 atm.

It's ticking me off but I am just trying to think that after Friday night I refuse to change a darn thing even though I have till Saturday night to do so..
Just remember it will all be over soon

so far i'm done if i have any cancellations i am going to see if any LIW gals can come and fill in the seats. As far as add on's i won't allow it unless something really amazing happens that makes me want to change my mind or they can easily be added to a table.

I had a few stragglers, but I also had someone show up who was NEVER invited!! Our family lost touch with her years ago when she moved to Florida, but she found out about the wedding somehow. This crazy b*tch took it upon herself to book a flight and show up on my cousin's doorstep that day of my wedding and said she was coming!!!!

I know how frustrating this all is, but I promise it will all work out

Yes. I almost had to rearrange the entire seating chart because my BM suddenly wanted to bring a date. I barely dodged that bullet.

My cousins said they weren't coming because something on the invitiation suggested to them that I was on the outs with my mom and that she wasn't going to be there. What kinda crazy person gets all of that from an invitation?? Anyway, it wasn't true and now they are coming.

It really. really. p***** me off too. I just did what was easiest for me, without putting other people out.

I saw my cousin go through this the NIGHT before her wedding!!!! I think if this happened to me, I would tell them thanks for making the effort but the seats are finalized and I cannot change it with this short of a notice.

I think it's the rudest thing ever--seriously...only 3 days before the wedding you finally realize you could make it?

The way I see it, if I was important enough to them, they would have found a way to make it from the beginning....Not 3 days before the event! Therefore they're not important enough to have me rearrange my entire seating chart or stress over.
That's just me..but I just wouldn't do it

Me and FH were talking about this last night. One of his brothers is famous for such behavior.
He is also famous for pulling such a thing and then not showing. We agreed that FH will speak with him and let him know that everything has been finalized and can not be changed. We dont want the added stress for nothing.

due to the posts on this very topic inthe past 8 months I have allowed a straggler table.

I hope you will be able to work it out.

If you really have everything paid off and do not have the funds to cover their plates, they need to be called and told that the head count has been tallied and everything has already been paid for and you are so very sorry.

If not you, have a close family member or friend handle this indelicate task.

that's why I'm not doing my placecards until next week. All my friends that have recently gotten married told me to expect changes the week of. So, I have it all formatted on the computer, but i'll wait until Wed. of next week to print them all out and be done.

i am sooo scared something like that is going to happen to me im estimating about 10-15 people just showing up at the wedding korean people dont know how to RSVP especially adults... usually in korean weddings there are no RSVPs.. they just show up....

I'm sooo nervous about that

What made them think you were on the outs with your mom from an ivite??? People are retarded

the worst part is she knew about the wedding and still scheduled a closing in Florida on her house the same day. Okay so no care for me at all but now that the closing got postponed Im cool enough Im so mad its my moms SIL and my cousin my moms brother is not even coming they are all wierd

LOL be glad they didnt call you the day of...i had 7 ppl call me the day of my e-party to change their answers.

Hopefully you wont have to rearrange the seating too much and it goes smoothly

its annoying but honestly not worth getting so upset about Your wedding is coming up real soon so try to enjoy it.
