I saw an idea on TV and want to get soem opinions

They re-did an old kitchen - I too have an old kitchen and want to re-do however, I don't have the money to put a new kitchen in.
They took off the cabinet doors and painted the inside - what do you think of this idea?
Cabinets without the doors?
only the top ones - I'll only have glasses and dishes in these - and then some deco items -

Idont think Id do cabinets without doors.
Unless I had everything lined perfectly and maybe some things just presented 'for show'.
But I cant imagine no doors.
Maybe if I saw a pic, I can get a better visual to get an idea...

How about repainting or refacing them?

I agree, Im not sure I would like the idea of no doors.
Can you post a pic of your cabinets?

do you have pics to post?

some people have the cabinet doors taken off, and just repainted, or replaced, and it gives a new look without having to replace the whole shelving...
