I saw our fearless leader of the boards out and about last nite!

So I went to a midnite showing of Spider-man last nite, along with all the other 1000+ fans that were at the theatre....and low and behold, who do I see? Our LIW god, Ron! LOL

I'm happy to see that he is like me and just HAD to be one of the first ones in line to see the flick. Gotta be hardcore fan for the ole' midnite showing....cause I am TIRED!

LOL I actually went to Island 16 off of Exit 61 or 62 on the LIE. (i think thats holtsville)

and there is NOTHING wrong with salivating and getting excited in your special places at the Transformer movie---i feel the same way. Harry Potter...I'm intrigued. Rise of the Silver Surfer....little tingle.

Wished there was a little more Venom--but what can ya do.

I was disappointed in the ending--seemed kind of flat. But then again, i HATE with a passion Kirsten Dunst and want to vomit when she's on screen as MJ. so that doesn't help.

I have a dumb question.

How'd you know it was Ron? Are there pics somewhere I should know about????

I loathe Kirsten Dunst...glad I'm not the only one. Not sure I'll be able to stand her face for 2 1/2 hours but FH really wants to see it so I'm going.

Well there are pics up of him...so you can see him from the 'Check it out!' Thread on BHB. Plus pics from the Extravaganzas and TWOTY.

During the extravaganza in Sept. 06, he was cool enoug to come out to a little 'after-party' with some of us at Hoolihan's...so I've hung out with him there too.

FW hates Kirsten Dunst as well... says she only has one facial expression, looking down and biting her lip.

Heard that Venom got kinda short-shrift, and that he wasn't going to be in this one.

Overall it feel short of my expectations. The ending was like - HUH!
Graphics were great!!!
MJ - she died in the comic book, right? How about a repeat performance

The original is still the best in my not so humble opinion.

did you say action scenes - as in plural meaning more than one????? needed more action! the first action scene was great! the others - I yawned! guess i just expected way more with all the hype! please do not get me wrong - people loved the flick and it was good - i was just looking for something a little more - like the truck falling on MJ!
