I saw this on an 08 board

I thought this was a really good thing to help share ideas. (i know im kinda stuck at times)

For those who have lost a parent how are you incorporating them into your wedding.I want to have them somehow in my wedding but I dont want to get anyone upset or sad.....I know this is a sad subject but sometimes Im at a loss on what to do for them and maybe this board can help me and others who have lost someone!

Me and my FH both lost our moms, when we were younger and they are buried across the way from eachother!!! It was them who brought us together I swear!!!!

Anyway I was thinking about maybe stopping by the cemetary after the ceremony and leaving my bk
We want to write a poem for them and frame it with their picture
Maybe a dance with my bro and dad...but that might get too sad.

1st I am so sorry for your lost.... IMHO I think going to the cementary will be to sad b/c for me cementary only equal death while if you incorporated in your wedding is like celebrating the wonderful thinks that they mean in your life (I hope I make sence). But do what you heart tell you to do you can always do something special like a slide show with picture of them with a background song.... I havent lost my mom so I couldnt know how hard these wedding planning is both for you and fh just want you to know that we are here to help
