I just got caught in the rain...It's really coming down in NYC.....

Sh*t is so weird... the sun came out again in NJ and now I am leaving for NY and its starting to rain again.

We drove through rain and hail this afternoon. We went to the movies figuring it would be fine when we came out. But there were still brown and yellow clouds on the horizon.

We drove through more pouring rain and it pretty much dissipated as we were driving down Wantagh Parkway towards Jones Beach. But the lightning was streaking across the sky, it was awesome!

And then I saw it... a rainbow! We pulled over on the side of the road to look and it formed a gorgeous double rainbow across the whole sky. From where we were, we could see the entire thing, it was breathtaking.

I said to FH, I wish I had the cellphones of the LIWeddings brides today, I'd tell them to get their butts outside for a picture with a rainbow in the background! I wonder if any of them saw it and took advantage??
