I seriously need to get off FB today and do some work!
After heeding all you wonderful girls' advice, I just went to do some, um, clean up on my contacts list.
I deleted random people that just added be just because, people I lost with over the years, etc, so I just went through my entire list.
Then I got to an old friend, my friend from college that I think I mentioned in the past, he was there for me in a really bad time and then moved back to his home state and left me even more broken, literally weeks before I met FH. We kind of kept in touch over the years, but it's tapered off past few years, because FH is the jealous type, and his GF/now FW apparently was a bit too.
What stopped me dead in my tracks was that his profile pic was their wedding picture. I'm not too embarassed to admit that it sent me crying in to the bathroom.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME LATELY???? I'm an emotional wreck! It was a little shocking to see, but I was so HAPPY for him because he looked so happy and in love. I'm going to go against my better judgement and congratulate him.
But it made me feel so much better about what I was doing, because I know my photos won't illicit that same feeling of genuine happiness.
So long story short...the world works in mysterious ways, and I'm feeling very mushy today and I love you guys for getting me through these things!
