So FH shows me this 'invite' today from his job. Someone is retiring next month and they are having a 'surprise' party for her at the restaurant that I think my shower is at and the kicker is it is on his 30th birthday. A couple of weeks ago he asked if we could celebrate his bday on Saturday instead of his really birthday on Sunday. So I will be fully decked out. I just hope my mom asked him 1st if he minded her having it on his birthday (if it is actually that day which I am sure it is)
Needless to say my famiily thinks their so slick but they're really not sad to say.

awww!! I'm usually a detective too! but I will say with 6 1/2 months left to your wedding, there's still time after next month to have your shower, so maybe it really is just a party your going to and not your shower?? I guess I'm just adding to your suspense!! And your freaking me out that your shower could be coming up....since I'm getting married the week after you!!!

I know there is so much time. But I know my mom (we like doing things early), I know the invites are out (due to FH's big mouth), I know that his mom gave a wrong address (due to her big mouth). At this point I give up. At least I can get my hair dyed the day before (I've been trying to save money and doing it every 2 months)

hahahaha...i completely understand where you are coming from....i'm doing the same detective work on my end also....although it would be quite hard for my sister and mom to keep it a suprise because they both live in FL...and stay with me when they come up!!
