It's ALWAYS so cold is this office. The boss is ALWAYS hot and I have no idea how. I have a space heater but when I plug it in, I lose power to my computer, printer, etc. at my desk...GO FIGURE!
Sorry girly! hope it gets warmer.

Thank God for my space heater at work! It is always FREEZING. The second I come into the office I put on my heater before even my computer lol. I also wear a sweater and still get goosebumps. It's out of control! I have a vent right above me

I would buy a tiny one and put it under your desk. They make real small ones, and who will even notice?

Re: I should get osha up in here
well while you have them on the phone, tell them about ME! My wall heater (older office) which I ADORE burned out and smoked 2 winters ago.. they wont fix it, my boss' say its the landlords problem, the landlord (and signed contract) say its OUR problem... w/e now the HEATER went out, like overall heater for the office/suite. The part costs more then a whole new unit. *SHE* says she wont pay anything over $20 to fix it, that the landlord should.. and once again, contract says SHE fixes it... so she brought me in a spaceheater that's older then dirt that I use on a daily basis, as I'm always cold. But this thing is so old it'll be on for 10 minutes then turn off and fizz. then i have to wait 30-60 min to try again. I keep a stock of sweaters and a blanket at my desk 24/7/365.
oh.. and we haven't had HOT water in 5 years... and now the water is yellow too...

Now THAT is an OSHA issue. Woah. I'd be pissed! oh.. and we haven't had HOT water in 5 years... and now the water is yellow too...

Re: I should get osha up in here
i have the opposite problem. my windows face the east river so its boiling hot in my office all day. i have a fan on all year round.
with the exception of today. i am freezing cold because i am not feeling well. the women in the cubical next to me was looking at me like i had ten heads, since i had a sweater on all morning
