I should have watched American Idol, if only for this exchange

Ryan Seacrest: 'We have a question from Georgia. What do you consider the hardest part of this contest?'

Melinda Doolittle: 'Wow. I would have to say the high heels and these dresses. I like my tennis shoes and my sweat pants. I'm sorry.'

Seacrest: 'Simon, any advice on the high heels?'

Cowell: 'You should know, Ryan.'

Seacrest: 'Stay out of my closet, Simon.'

Cowell: 'Well, come out.'

Seacrest: 'This is about the top twelve. Okay? Not your wishes...We're friends.'

That was freakin funny. Simon actually forgot his role for a second there and laughed his @ss off. It was really funny to see.

Simon can be almost human sometimes. I like seeing that.

DH and I like to rip the bad singers to pieces. People like Sanjaya make it so easy. Although I highly doubt he'll make it to next week.

I laughed my A$$ off at that exchange. Ryan totally set himself up for it. I thought Simon went easy on him, I would have hit him with the comments HARDER. I am such a biotch. Simon was hysterical. I like his human side too Greeny.

JW thinks I should be a professional acting / singing critic. He loves my opinion on the singers since I have vocal training. He has good taste.

What are your opinions?

Of the guys, I think they all suck @ss compared to some of the women. But I like Chris Slyde the best. He's usually no-nonsense and gets it done.

Rusty likes the beat box guy but I don't think he picked the right song to show off his voice.

I love Melinda and Lakeisha.

I love Blake (beat box) but that song did not show his vocal talent at all. He has stage presence and charisma.

I love Melinda too. Amazing voice, shows great emotion in her singing, but I am getting tired of the 'gee whiz, you think I am good' act. I think the hard part with Melinda is selling her records. She could be amazing on Broadway. I don't know what genre she would fit into for recording an album.

I love Jordin!! She has presence, great voice but needs maturity. She is amazing considering she is 17 but I think her lack of experience could hurt her in the long run. I love her voice but she is struggling to find her place. She needs guidance and maybe a little training. AMAZING talent though.

Lakeisha is good but I think she pales next to Melinda. Lakeisha has image problems. I can't imagine her fitting into the Hollywood music scene. What would she record? Where would she fit? Melinda is better, in my opinion.

The rest of the guys are 'eh' to me.

As is no surprise to anyone, I totally agree.

I thought it was funny how Sanjaya got such bad comments and no one really booed at it.

And how much surgery has Diana Ross had?! It's like a whole new face!

Truth: I hooked up with someone who looked like the younger version of Simon. Minus the accent and tight shirts.

Indeed. I could do the hula better than that fool and I haven't taken classes. He was very stiff.

I don't watch AI either. Sometimes final 4 - but I find it to be a snoozefest.
