how far OOT are they?

I have only a handful of OOTers... and we both have huge families so you cant really judge mine... 91 people invited, 70 showed

Some of them (like 10 were OOT) .. Chicago, Cleveland, Montana, Vegas, VT

Yeah, I have a baby shower in NJ on May 8th and it's a prob bc its the day before mother's day. That's why lots of OOTers prob can't come.

also, May is a huge month for Communions/Confirmations so its hard to schedule something in May

i had a good turn out but I don't have many OOT'ers who arn't a drive away. Mostly PA, and MD.

This time of year is difdicult for everyone what with the summer coming and all. Your shower will be incredible no matter what! Try not to let it get you down

You know, I really don't think it will matter how many people are there. You'll have a great time regardless. My shower consisted mainly of FH's relatives as his family is HUGE! The numbers are meaningless. A celebration is a celebration!!!

Yeah, focus on the quality. I might not even have one, because I only have 18 girls to invite to begin with, mostly all OOT, and I heard only 5 would be really able to attend, so I feel that's kind of lame, i am hoping for 10-15 and then I would have it. Having 15 of your closest for a shower is nice and maybe your guests who aren't coming will still send gifts!!

Same here!! Mine will be this Sunday and I knew it would be small about 20 women were invited....and of course at last minute like 6 ppl bailed out, so I had to convert my bridal shower to a Jack and Jill shower. I invited my brother, his best buddy (who is like a brother to me), and a few of my co-workers.

So in total I will have about 18 ppl. Believe me you start to realize who really does care for you, when things like this come up.

I know how you feel. I will probably have the same scenario. I'm inviting about the same number of people as you and half my list is OOTers. But don't worry about it. It'll be a blast and hopefully those that didn't make the shower will come to the wedding. Seeing them then will be more special

Don't let it bother you, I wish my shower was a little smaller. I hardly had time to chat with everyone, barely got to eat, and was running around like a loon. I think it'll be great with just your nearest and dearest there! You'll still have a blast!

My shower is this weekend and I have been extremely depressed about the turnout! I invited 48 people, 21 of them are friends and only 7 are able to come---hardly any OOTers! Everyone has something else to do so I feel your pain....

Everyone tells me that it will be amazing regardless.
