Some of you may remember my little delimma about choosing a dress. I'm crazy about this leather amor I picked out but then my mom wanted me to wear a more traditional wedding dress. Well I let my FH view the threat and he just smirked and told me that the white dress (in his words) looked stupid. He didnt like the white dress at all. Well that does it, the leather it is! Thanks girls!

Good for you, go with what will make you happy and what will make your FH fall in love with you all over again when he first see's you in it.

Go with what makes you happy!! If it's one thing I've learned through this whole planning process, it's that you need to do what makes you happy and everyone else just has to deal!!

whats wrong with leather? i wore leather too and it has to be what works for you you should wear what makes you happy and not what anyone else wants you to wear - can we see the one you are going to wear?

I remember your dress form your original post about a month ago, and I was very confused about the situation until you explain it to me. Coming from someone who is haveing the own originality problems w/ dresses I'll be the first to tell you 'If you like it, I love it'
Good luck w/ your mom though, my mom doesn't stop until she gets what she wants, or close to it I think you should go w/ the leather b/c I know that's what you really want. One question though are you really into that time, and era, b/c don't you or FH work at a Midiaeval Museum or something?

Maybe you cna find something intermediate? Like a more traditional medieva style gown? There's one aprticular company I see in wedding magazines that makes these gorgeous gowns.

Alright I'll answer to all your questions. First yes my mom knows I'm wearing the leather. But we are paying for the wedding and she'll back off given enough time. And Joe and I work at a Renaissance Faire a few weeks a year during the summer. We met there three yrs ago. But thanks girls. I'll post the dress later, I don't have th picture saved on this computer.
