So a friend of mine is getting married this Sunday and we're invited to the wedding. I realized this weekend that I have nothing to wear because all of my dresses are too big. I go shopping today and found the perfect dress. Not only was it on sale...it's a size 8!!!! I've not been a size 8 since high school!!! I'm so happy! Just when I thought I was going to be stuck at size 10, I started shrinking again! Ladies, the hard work definitely pays off. 1 year ago, I was a size 16.

a well deserved congrats is in order.
It does take hard work and perseverence to get to where you got.
If you don't mind me asking. When you ordered your dress, what dress size did you order it? What I mean, is did you order it the size you were then or did you order it 1, 2 or 3 sizes smaller?
I just ordered mine and I did order it one size smaller.

Hi! When I ordered my gown, I ordered a 14 and they are taking it in to a size 8. It was another motivator for me to lose the weight!

OMFG!!!! That is just so amazing!
Did you workout as well or did you do it entirely by dieting?
I restarted me exercise regime this week and plan on kicking off my dieting on Monday so I'm just curious what your achievements look like. I'm sure it's a lot to take in when you see your before and after pics.
