I soooo need to vent! WARNING: long

So I dropped my car off on Monday because I knew I was having problems with my transmision. FBIL's friend happens to work at this shop so he said he could get us a good deal. Fine. Great. My car stays over Monday night and all of Tuesday b/c supposedly the parts didnt come in till late in the day blah blah blah. So Wed. rolls around and I'm thinking I'm going to get my car back but then 'it was taking longer then we thought'. So Im pissed off but there's not much I can do about it. So I arrange my schedule so that I can leavce work early to make sure I can get to the shop before they close tonight. FH calls to make sure everythings good to go and ...guess what?! it's still not ready!! And the owner (not FBIL's friend) has the nerve to tell us 'things happen' ***??????? Thats your excuse??? things happen???? So supposedly they just have to put something back into my car and it'll be ready in the morning. I told FH I'm not paying the entire $700 he originally told us it would be. Oh yeah, and he told us it had to be cash!! So you're $crewing not only me but the government too?????

I hate not having a car, I hate depending on rides, and I hate that people think they can get away with this s hit!

And of course we feel in an awkward posiion b/c FBIL's friend works there and we dont want to cause him any problems.
