I spent Thursday morning in the Hospital..

I was having 'tightening' all Wednesday evening and then it went from the 'tightening' to the cramps, backpain and then the whole kit and kaboodle, I called the doctor on her service and she said to get to the hospital right away.

We got to the hospital and they immediately put me on the monitor and yep I was having contractions at 31 weeks!! they had to give me medication to calm the uterus and stop the contractions, they made me drink tons of water and after a few hours sent me home.

It was kind of scary because it's too early for this baby to come and this can happen again up until I deliver....it has happened again except not as bad..I feel contractions now on a daily basis..I just want to make it to 34 weeks so I can feel a little more comfortable. Wish me luck!!

Just remember that babies can be okay if born this early. Are you on bedrest? How scary!

I'm so sorry, I'm hoping for NO MORE contractions and for these next few weeks to go by quickly for you!!

Thanks ladies for all your love and hugs...for those of you who don't know...yes I am on bedrest and have been since 19 weeks, that is when I had an emergency cerclage put in.

To actually make it this far is a miracle in itself..but I just want a few more weeks under my belt.

I can't imagine what you've been through!! Your Peanut is giving you a run!! Take care of yourself!!

FYI - FH's cousin had her baby at 27 weeks and she is PERFECT and HEALTHY. I know you want full term but after 26 or 27 weeks is viable.

this just happened to a friend of mine...she went into labor 8 weeks early...managed to hold off for another week or two...

the baby was very healthy...he just had to be kept at the hospital until he reached a certain weight
