so tonight is our first of six sessions......what am i supposed to expect when we go tonight? Its a group of about 20 people, but how personal of questions do they ask you? FH made me sign up using our address as mine and his parents address as his...he didnt want them saying anything to us being that we live together lol which i think is so silly because the deacon who is marrying us knows we live together lol...oh well, but im kind of nervous about tonight because i really dont like people putting their two sense into our lives.....i know its really bad to say that but i just dont know what to expect when we go...like if they ask really personal questions that we dont want to answer how does that go?.....any insight girls?

dont worry -- you'll be fine
you dont have to open up about anything if you dont want to - thats how i approach it - if im being asked something im not comfortable answering - i'll just say 'thats personal'
and if they didnt tell you to bring anything - then you dont need anything

Do you need to do this if you are not getting married in a church.. Is it a good idea to do anyways if you are not getting married in a church .. I don';t really understand it.. we are getting married on the beach>>

i dont think you need to do it if you are not getting married in a church because they do focus on the catholic religion and going to church and such....

ok well we just got back, there are about 11 couples at our session....i do not like talking in front of a big crowd...i thought i was over that and then tonight we had to introduce ourselves and tell everyone what we love about our spouses and such...yeah i sounded like the people who do the auctions lol...good thing FH can talk in front of people lol...this is not going to be a fun 6 weeks, we have hw to do. they gave us a book that we have questions to fill out before the next session which im assuming we are going to have to speak about ever time we go....this is so not my thing...i have no problem speaking with FH, i just dont like talking to everyone else lol

Don't worry, it really isn't that bad. We did our precana in one weekend. Both of us were not happy that we had to go, but in the end it really wasn't bad. We mostly did exercises out of a book to see if we were on the same page with things like finances, kids, etc. and then we discussed our results only with each other. All the other couples were pretty nice, and everyone else was in the same boat and weren't happy being there either. Anyway, we did the same thing with our addresses b/c we didn't want us living together to cause a problem. You'll be fine, don't worry. Good luck!
