I started Registering!

I started Registering!

It was harder than I thought lol... we went saturday to Macy's, they weren't very helpful there.. but anyway, spent an hour and a half, and have 3 things on the registry, I kept going to the different things, like knives or everyday china, and i was like theres so many choices, i'm not ready to decide yet... so i kept moving on. I only got the down comforter and 2 sheet sets on it.

We had more luck at Bed bath and beyond yesterday, but it was easier, I know we need the basics, ya know...

I'm finding it more of a challenging committment picking out the china i'm supposed to use for the rest of my life than it is marrying FH,

I love registering. We just added more this weekend. ANd I will do BBB with my MOH. I registered for the main stuff at Forunoff. I have a ban on Macys so I would never register there nor buy anything off their registry from there!!!

Oohhhh..how fun!

Just a word of advice to everyone though..I used to be the Bridal Consultant at Macy's in Albuquerque. It is okay to register two years in advance if thats what you want or want it for e party or what have you..however....if this is the same registy you are going to keep...be sure and always update..especially when you are at eight months or less to the wedding.....chances are....minus crystal or china....some of the stuff could be clearanced out..discontinued..or they just plain no longer sell it.. So when it gets closer go in and pull your registry..and make sure those things are accessible still..and if not...delete them and register for something comprable..

usually if you register a year in advance...you don't have that problem..minus a few..no big deall..just a piece of advice..HTH

I agree when we went to Fortunoff's they told us to wait to register for bedding, towels and table linens.. That way they won't be discontinued. I'm going to wait unitl about 2 months before my shower. I am dreading going back to register
