Is that really bad? My wedding is 9 months away, i have enough time, right?!?! . I have already chosen my dress months ago, at RK bridal, and i got a great quote then. The problem is, i really dont want to buy my dress from manhattan and have to commute there for it so i wanted to buy it on LI. The bridal stores i call on LI either have a MUCH higher quote OR wont give me a quote over the phone. I REALLY dont want to drive all the way to a store just for a quote. BTW I am getting Maggie Sottero 'grace', or maybe not if i cant move my butt to get it!!!!

I think Maggie is one of the designers that tends to take a long time. I would order it very soon -- and make sure that it can be in on time!

You still have time, a lot of places really only need 6 months before but, I would try to go now. Just go to the store and tell them the price you were quoted and see if they will match it.

I would order it within the month. they might have to rush a maggie, but it should still come in with plenty of time.

I sympathize(sp)my wedding is in 8months and I havent gotten anything done. I know who I've picked for vendors but havent been able to get there and put deposits down. Let alone go shopping for my dress. I can only hope they are still available when I can get down there.

Have you tried getting a quote from Burtons? Tehy will do it over the phone, Im getting my maggie dress from them and they had the best price.

I would order it soon. You still also have to do fittings so thats about 1-2 months. So I would go as soon as you can to order it.

i think u have time, but shops have told me that production slows or halts during holiday season so if u order now u may wait an additional 2-3 months over the normal wait time.
