I still need a DJ!!! Help!!

Hi, everyone!!! I know how helpful everyone is here and I am so happy someone told me about this site. I was hoping someone had a DJ that they had for their wedding or are going to have and would recommend for mine. I really really appreciate it! Thanx!!!!

I am using Danc Jock in Deer Park. We saw them at the show case and my friend used them. They were great! And after taking to somone who just got married, they are not expensive. We got the DJ fro $1200 plus 150 for lights. We liked them because they were professional and kept the crowd up but werent annoying.

Invitation to Dance!

We are using Invitation to Dance. We went to a friends wedding last year that used them and we totally loved them. Another friend of ours is getting married in Aug this year and they too are using Invitation to Dance. Check them out at www.invitationtodance.com.

Try Hypnotic Sounds. They are awesome. The owner is a close personal friend of mine for 8 years, and NO I am not posting this to give him recognition. I am using him for my May 17, 2003 wedding. I have seen much of his work. He is truly awesome. He is professional, caring, and has everything you can want from a dj. Light machines, smoke machines, bubble machines...He will come to you and give you an in home and explain to you all he has to offer. He will let you chose whatever you want and dont want to play, or let him be the judge. He has all kinds of musci, you name it, he has it, and the best part is, he isvery reasonably priced.

My family has used Hank Lane for every event I can remember, from my sister's wedding, to my god-family's bar mitzvahs. They have a Roslyn office, easy to get to. I would try them.

I will be using Spin Around Sound for my October wedding. My aunt/uncle used them last Feb for their wedding and when I got engaged I knew that I wanted to use them as well. i recieved reccomendations from the reception site. Energy entertainment, body rock and elite entertainment. has anyone heard of them?

My hall recommended Energy. I would advise against them because my fiance and I went to see them and was impressed and when I called them later to set up an appointment to finalize everything I asked for references (which people have highly recommended to do). To make a long story short, they never got back to me. Even after I called 3 times after that. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
