i supposedly won a free trip

I'm skeptical. I got a call from some cookware company saying i had entered into a contest online and I am one of 20 who won. all i have to do is have a meeting with the lady for 1 hour, no obligation to buy and the trip is ours for 2 to a wyndham resory in the dominican republic, mexico or the bahamas.

she told me to look at the resorts we had to choose from on www.vivaresorts.com

anyone else heard of this?

alot of girls on here got that...its this whole thing to buy their products and i heard the stuff is expensive...one girl on here said she did and went on the trip but not like they pay the whole thing, just be careful

i get so annoyed when everyone says these thigns are a 'SCAM' lmao you actually DO get a trip but...........you have to look at the cookware and the WILL try to get you to buy something but alot of places you dont have to buy to get the trip......but you DO have to pay for the airfare. Quite a few of my friends have done these and gotten the trip. they just had to pay the airfare and they never bought anything

SCAM!!!!!!!!!! I had one of these calls, you have to sit at a conference about cookware, its BS, I didnt go through with it, waste of my time

nooo its a scam-i got the same call---

she said i won a trip for 2 nights....

then she asked if i have new cookware-when i said YES she said well good luck on your wedding and hung up!

I think it's a scam because I got the call awhile ago & they always say you were picked along with 20 others but come to find out that a lot more then 20 people get the same phone call. So right from the beginning it's a little wierd to me.

yeah they pretty much just put you in the resort everything else u pay for...food and airfare

nah i think when they call to confirm i'll cancel...i said sure we can meet at first coz i wanted to ask u girls first. when the hell will i be able to go besides my honeymoon...i don't have money to spend on airfare for a trip thats not wedding related.

yes i got a call like that, and i had to turn it down, but they said i could rescedule it...bascially its a promotional thing, they want u to stay at there resort in hopes that u will purchase a time share w/ them, at the end of ur vac the ywil sit w/ u for an hour and show u all they have to offer for their time share, and why would u turn that down considering u just spent the last two days HAVING THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE, b/c they pack everything and anything into for you...

if u do go just be prepared to say no at the end
