Because so far I have 5 weddings to go to in within a span of 1 year in '08 and '09!!! 2 of which I'm in!
I've always heard that the weddings start to pile up when we get to a certain age.... Thank god for financial reasons I was 1 year ahead of the game!
Though, hopefully I'm out of debt by then.

holy cow...this is a big wedding year for us We had 4 + ours... we declined to one ~ in a wedding party for one... and all the others that are not getting married this year they are popping out babies...

Lucky you! I have 6 before my own (2 already passed, I have one 6/30, 1- 7/3 (going as my cousin's guest to this one so its FREE), 1- 7/6, and 1-8/18) plus a baby shower..

We have plus our own this year. My sister is up to 8 this year! And we picked 07 because we didn't know of anyone else getting married this year.

so true! Ive actually only been to 1 wedding in January. I guess because Im only 24, I dont know a lot of people who have gotten married. However, now that my wedding is getting closer, it seems like all of my friends are getting engaged and I know i will have a few weddings to go to next year. So im glad im one of the first ones.

Yup so far 07 and 08 are pretty busy. This year I have 4 (in one) in addition to my own and so far for 08 I have 3 that I know of.

We have three in one month! (mid July-mid August) - almost all our weekends in the summer are booked!

I haven't gotten to that place just yet. I'm the first of my friends to get engaged & married & my family members are all still in middle school & high school. I think it's coming soon though because most of my friends are in serious relationships & they are quickly approaching their mid twenties.
