I surprised FH for his Birthday (a little long)
FH's birthday is today but I surprised him big time on Saturday. I sent out an e-vite to a whole bunch of our friends and siblings. So many people responded yes, i was so excited about it.
So we went to dinner first, (La Paella in the city - the food was good, although I like the sangria and paella at El Boqueron in Astoriabetter. The tapas were really yummy, we just orderd one of their mixed combos! -The atmosphere is great - only downside was that it was sweltering hot!)
I gave him his card at dinner with tickets to teh Boston Comedy Club. He really liked the idea but little did he know that 20 of his friends and family members would be there waiting for him -
After dinner we went to St. Alps for tea and walked around Washington Square Park and the NYU area since we met down there.
I had to stall so we ended up going to Barnes and Nobles because I didnt want him seeing anyone getting to the comedy club.
We finally got there at 10 - they hadnt seated the party, yet but it worked out great bec there was such a huge line FH was looking at the line and asking me how we were getting in and why I was walking past the front door.
He was SO SO SO shocked when he saw everyone - i really wish i had taken a picture. I had a camera - just forgot to take it out and take a pic.
Just though i would share - He is still calling me sneaky and trying to figure out how i planned it without him having any clue!!
