i take back what i said about ciao baby being fun!

so i went there today to check it out and see if i want to have the RD there. the manager (who made me wait 10 minutes while he dealt with other stuff, instead of referring me to the other manager) kept asking what the party was for, and i kept telling him, it's just a party (i have had bad experiences with people trying to jack up the price when they find out it's wedding-related). so then he showed me the packages they had. well, they were more than i wanted to spend ($38pp before tax and tip), and i told him so, and he told me, well that's for a la carte, family style will be cheaper. i tried - several times - to tell him that's what i wanted, and he kept trying to tell me i would get better food choices if i went with the a la carte menu. finally i was like, look, i WANT to do family style, i like the look of this place, and since i'd never been there, i wanted to try it - and he told me it would be $35pp fore family style. nice, a whole $3 cheaper. and he gives me an attitude, says it's for a friday night so he can't do anything else, and when i tell him i want to take the menus and think about it, he says, 'suit yourself.'

who says that?!?!?

i was soooo pissed i should have just said forget it, but i took the menus anyway.

good thing i had better luck at katy daly's!

i agree with you on this one!!!! but i got yelled at when i said that last time, so we should watch what we say!!!!

Have you checked Sergios? They are also in Massapequa and are very very reasonable. We are having ours there!
