I think I am Gods Sitcom...

So we had our tasting at the Allegria on Wed night. Everything was delish! Couldn't be happier. I decided that no matter what, I wanted to try everything that came out.

Apparently I am VERY allergic to scallops. Awesome. Within 5 minutes of eating them (thank god it was the last thing I tried) I broke out in a hot sweat, my tongue blew up and I had to run to the bathroom and puke my brains out. Thank god we live close, because what followed for the rest of the night was not pretty! I went to my allergist yesterday, and he confirmed it!

I guess it is good that I found out that day and didn't attempt to eat it on my wedding! As my head was in the toilet (sorry if i am being graphic), I was asking FH if this was a bad sign. We couldn't help but laugh....

So our wedding planning has pretty much gone like this;
Get engaged
Book extravagent wedding
FH Looses his job
I lose my job
Our Best Man Dupree is coming on our honeymoon
Anaphalactic shock at the tasting

Thank god we can lugh about all of this..

The only reason I am so positive is because of you girls!! I know I don't post much, but I stalk this site, and honestly see how people are going through alot more then the stupid crap we are you know??
We got our health, we got friends, we got family...and thats all we need! (and an epi pen too!!) ha ha ha

I always said get the ridiculous sh!t out now before the wedding so you can have a happy marriage!

and at least you did find out now about your allergy, but I bet the chef felt a little awkward as your puking up his probably very delicious scallops!

The food at the Allegria tasting is SOOOO good too I hope that you're feeling better and that things can only go up from here. You and your FH are two strong people to battle the obstacles that you have encountered since getting engaged... it's only setting the tone for a strong marriage!
