I've always just wanted a simple, tall, calla lily centerpiece....but all the quotes were so $$$$$$. I know callas are more expensive than other flowers, but based on online wholesale prices, it's not THAT expensive!
So i am going to do something like this:
but in a white ceramic cylinder vase ( I LOVE white flowers in white vases).
Total cost....$40-50 each centerpiece including the vase and real callas!
I've love arranging flowers and do it as a hobby...so it's not like i'm trying it for the first time. And this arrangement is really easy...just cut them all the same length and plop it into a vase! If I feel super ambitious, I may try something like this:
i've done something similar, but with roses...and it was really cute!
Sigh....another DIY project to add to the list....I wish I didn't have a budget

very nice jen!! i love them! and i'm also thinking about doing it also..i feel like its such a waste to buy all these elaborate flowers that are going to die! what a waste of money...now you can put that money to something more useful!

I love yor ideas! My sister did her own calla centerpieces and they were so pretty, I am going to have her do mine as well. She ordered her fowers through the growersbox.com and she was very satisfied with them, if that helps you out any! Good luck!

I don't have any pics, but she kept it very simple. She just used tall glass cylinder vases that she got on sale at AC Moore and placed maybe 10 or so callas in each, along with some glass marbles. Very very simple, but very classy and elegant.

Jen...I know this CP thing has been on your mind lately. This (in my opinion) is your best idea yet! I LOVE the idea! You can soooo do this!!!! I really can't wait to see pics...Good Job!

I the first and the third CP. I am also considering DIY calla lilly CPs, but have been worried that they would not look good. You have inspired me, and I think I am goign to go for it!!

my friend's sister got married friday night and she had calla CP's she used designs by rose in howard beach and i know she has very good prices
Just a question...cause I would LOVE to DIY centerpieces since I am using calli lilies and orchids and they are super
but I was wondering how do you make sure they get to the hall and set up?? I mean since on your wedding day you are going to be getting ready and everything...how do you know they are set up properly? Or in this case would you need a DOC in order to help?
