I think I am nuts....

I went to the Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale yesterday and bought 15 lbs of chocolate, lollipop molds, sticks and baggies.

I am going to make 150 rose lollipops as a favor to go with the CDs that we already made.

I only have 18 days until the wedding ...do you think I can pull it off?!!!!!

I don't think that is bad I have made that many in a weekend and it is easier to make them during the week because the annoying time is letting them cool - If you make a full batch each night you should be good - I would also reocommend wrapping them as others cool when you are doing a lot in one day - Don't worry it is do able - are you doing one color or a couple of colors or just brown chocolate

I am making the rose part with red chocolate and the leave part with green chocolate. I bought 5 molds and each has 3 roses on it so I can make 15 at a time.

I have recruited my mom, sister (MOH) and a bridesmaid to help. I figured I could do as many as possible over the weekend and then finish the rest during the week, next week.

It shouldn't be to bad ....at least I don't think so.

We are going to have 2 or 3 double boilers, so that will help.

I make them often. Since you have that many molds it will take you less time. You can put them in the fridge to harden faster. If you stay organized, you'll be able to do it!

Even if you don't finish in one day, you can cover all the bowls, etc. (so it doesn't get dust) and continue the next day. If you need anything, don't hesitate to FM me.

I spoke to my mother last night and told her that I am coming over with 15 lbs of chocolate and molds next week and she needs to help me make pops. She didn't seem to thrilled about, but of course said no problem.
