So, FH and I have been engaged for 3 weeks today. Within three weeks we booked the hall, church, DJ, photographer, videographer, limos, tux for him and have the date for the florist reserved (meaning we can look at other places and they'll hold our date until someone else goes in and asks for it, then they'll call us and ask us first if we want them or not) and tried on a few dresses and think I have the one! Are we sick or what? lol This wedding planning is so much fun! How is everyone else coming along?

Congrats!!! I have the RH, Videographer, Band and Limo. Started planning 5 weeks ago! We also knew what we wanted so that helped. Good luck with the rest of your planning

There's still plenty to go as far as I'm concerned LOL I can keep myself really busy. I am in Grad. school and am taking two classes this fall, working full-time and coaching...so I KNOW I'm going to be crazy....all of the research I did before paid off...guess it's the teacher in me? LOL

Its so important to book things asap, especially if u know what vendors you want! things book up super fast on long island

LOL I am just the type that has to get the big things done right away or else I'd freak. Too many things were booked for next June, July and August and it freaked us out..we got on the most important stuff so that the little things wouldn't be hard to do....it'll get done.

WOW- that's what I'd call speed planning! I need to get moving. All I have is Hall, DJ, dress and veil...and we have been engaged for 5 months. Good for you!

im the same way! ive booked the hall, photo/video, and DJ, and i got my dress...the florist we can wait one bc our friends dad is a florist..so we just told him to hold our date and we'll go in a few months..next step is limo..and today im going with afew of my girls to look at bridesmaid dresses
