I think I broke my finger

I had to borrow FH's car today and run to my moms house to pick up the last part of a 3-piece sectional my parents gave us and well I tried to help my brother put it in the car and I crushed my pointer finger between the leg and the side of the back hatch. I was jumping up and down shaking my finger like crazy and hysterical cause it hurt soo much. My neighbors were probably looking out thjere windows and thinking I was nuts. But now it's black and blue and hurts like freakin crazy

Definitely put ice on it right away! Might have to get one of those little finger splints! lol, but better than having a crooked finger! Hope it feels better soon!

It hurts like a biatch when I tried so I'm not moving it...plus now I'm making a hell of a lot of spellinmg errors because I'm not using that finger to type. But nothing will keep me from posting lol.

And actually the ice hurts when I try to put it on

go to CVS and get one of those finger splints, it'll help keep it in the right position so it heals correctly. I am very clumsy and used to break my finger all the time, I'm surprised my teachers never reported me for child abuse

Oh no, that doesn't sound good! Watch it and if it doesn't improve, definitely get it checked out...

The main theory behind breaking a bone is if it cannot be moved - you can't bend it - it's broken. I've sprained my ankle (no joke here, completely serious) 25 times... If you can move it, bend it or anything - it's not broken.

I know the ice hurts - but ICE IT!! That's the number one thing to keep away the pain. Take tylenol also to try and control the swelling...

As much as like to not correct you and have you continue to think I am thoughtful, they're all that color, LOL
