I think I found my dress

Hi guys, I don't post too much but I think I found a dress and would love your ladies opinions. (I really felt like a princess when I tried it on ) Also I found it at Adriennes Bridal, anyone know if they are overpriced, or if they are in line with other bridal stores?

you have to resize the pic....the the button above, next to 'forum mail' when you are logged in, then it will email you a pic that will able to be posted

you have to go to the resizer button.. it's right next to the forum mail tab, and then hit browse

OK Here goes. What do you think?

the pic didn't come out so good, but the dress has beautiful silver beading all along the top and back, I wish the pic came out better.

Well I went to Adriennes Bridal in Islip and they told me that it was their custom designer for the shop and I didn't see any tags in it. I haven't been anywhere else yet dress shopping but I just really loved this dress when I put it on. I'll still go and check out other places though.

Unfortunately, this a common practice at Adriennes. They take the tags out so you can't try it on there and buy it someplace else (for MUCH less). It is actually unlawful for them to do so. At any rate, I bet if you take your picture and give another bridal salon a detailed description of the dress, they can tell you who the maker is.

ETA - just to clarify I went to Adriennes myself and was very happy with their service. I was just suggesting a way to find out who the maker is. And I know other brides on this site did the same thing. I have been to salons who have the labels in the dresses - or at the very least tell you who the maker is (truthfully).

I got my dress there- I am very happy with it and the serivce

and most bridal shops take the tag out of the dress- not just them

I agree most of the Salons that I have been to take the tags out. I bought my dress there also and I am very very happy. I also changed the style of the dress and so far no problems

also- they have a very low alternations cap- $125 I think

it's something to think about- if you buy your dress some where else to save $50 and then wind of paying tons more for alternations- it's not really worth in the end
