I think I found my dress!!
It's from Jessica Mcclintock, and so reasonable. The service is great, Valerie, one of the salespeople was so helpful, and was really honest about what fit my body type. And, she said they only take 10 days to come in!! I'm still going to look around just so I know it's the one. But, I recommend all you brides check out the store, or online, if you haven't already.

I think I found my dress!!
Congrats! Is it on her website? If so, let us know so we can check it out!! Best of luck! P.S. - if you go with Jessica McClintock, where are you going to get the alterations? And what are the price ranges there? Thanks in advance and congrats again!

I think I found my dress!!
If you go to the website (www.jessicamcclintock.com) and go to search, put in the style 'Delilah', (I love how all of the bridal dresses are female names:), then click the picture 2x to enlarge. I haven't decided about the alterations yet, but the saleslady said I could take it to my usual tailor, who does my pants. I will let you know prices, but it may be a few weeks. BTW, I tried on 15 of the dresses in her store!!

Wow!
It's beautiful!! I love it! Has that been the style you've been trying on or have you tried all different ones? I can't wait to start looking with mom next month! Good luck with finalizing your decision, and wear it in good health!

Marnles, I tried on many different styles....
I walked in the store with a certain style in mind, which i found in magazines, then after trying those types on, i realized they weren't for me. the salesperson recommended styles like the one you saw. good luck to you too, I'm having so much fun trying them on. btw, David's bridal was too crowded and not fun at all.

Well good luck to you with finalizing everything...sorry to hear about David's...I'm on a very STRICT budget and was planning on going there, because I know I can afford it. I was also told by a bride that someplace in Lynbrook is also reasonable, and they were happy with their experience there, so I will check into that as well. I have a style idea in mind, but worry that it won't look right on me because of my height (only 5'2), but I've had it in my head for soooo long now! Well, hopefully, like you, I will get a salesperson who will help me find the style that fits with my body type. Please keep us posted on your final decision! Love the Jessica one though! :)Welcome New Vendors
