Ive been trying on alot of dresses lately and fell in love with the platinum for priscilla of boston line. Its a new line with just 2 seasons out so far and its designed by Kenneth Pool!
I am 99% sure this is the one, its light and airy and the crystal beadwork is unbelievable. I am taking my mom on thursday to see it.

i think its pretty but i think the other 2 you were comtemplating were a little better JMO...BUT i also haven't seen them in person or what they look like on you, which makes a huge difference

PErsonally, i do not like this style. that is why i vote other because if you LOVE this dress, it looks good on you and it will make YOU feel like a bride then this is absolutely THE ONE. if i wore it i would look like a fat slug!

I agree. It is an amazing looking dress but it really matters how it looks on YOU, not the model. Post pics when you try it on!

I love it! i think it is gorgeous and will look great on you. It is modern and definitely looks like a wedding dress. If you think it is the one...it probably is!

It is next to impossible to say if you should get it or not without seeing it on you---Would I buy it for myself? No.... BUT --It is a gorgeous dress- just simply not my style. That shouldn't influence your decision however!
You should get it if: 1) It is your style & you LOVE it 2) It makes you feel amazing and beautiful and like a bride when you try it on 3) if the people closest to you like it too

I tried this dress on 2 times...loved it but it wasnt the one. but the crystal on top was gorgeous, i just wanted a little more beading

They wont let me take pics unless i buy it and its impossible to sneak a picture, the sales girl is with me the whole time. Im bringing mom thursday she will be totally honest with me

I am not much for this style either. I voted keep looking but thats just my opinion. If it is comfy and you love it then wear it! When i see these dresses i just don't think 'wedding dress' but you do what you want!! the details are great tho!

I completely agree...none of us saw this dress in person, or how it looks on you and we all have different styles...When it comes down to it none of our opinions matter...its all about how you felt when you had it on, if you are questioning it then maybe try on more dresses...btw you should also see badgley mischka mermaid dresses and this one kenneth pool mermaid dress, they both are amazing.

My only slightly negative is that something about where the sequins and beadwork is on the thighs pulls my eyes directly to it and I stare (sorry!) right at her crotch instead of seeing the whole dress. Other than that, it is beautiful!!

i think the dress, as a whole, is pretty awesome, even though i'm fairly certain it wouldn't look good on me. however, if you're comfortable in it and love it, then you should go for it.

ditto. IMO it looks like there is a sequin thong shape on the back of the dress that I just can't help but see. . .
