I think I found out when my shower is!!!!!

And NOT on purpose.

Someone slipped with the name of the place where my shower is & tonight FH told me we have a christening to go to on March 1st, for of his co workers babies. When I asked him where it is, he said Little Neck...that's where the restaurant of my shower is.

I am soooo nervous!!!!!! I am so embarrased to sit in front of all those people & open gifts

Awe Jenn, don't be nervous! Just think of all the gifts! Atleast you are a little prepared now. From what I hear, it's VERY overwhelming, but sooo worth it!

I ended up figuring my shower date out too. I was told I was going to my girlfriends B-day brunch, I was like yeah right. But when I walked in and saw everyone I was still really surprised! March 1st is my wedding day!

I had my fitting scheduled for March 1st...and they called me to say they are having a store meeting that day ????????????? and asked me to reschedule!!!!!!!!!????

You will still be surprised by who's there, your gifts, and all the effort everyone put in!
The same thing happened to me-I found out but I still acted surprised-I played along because I knew they were trying to surprise me.

My little story...
Someone slipped about my shower and I HAD TO tell my sister that I knew...(cant hold anything from eachother ) My idiot coworker, left me a voicemail saying 'sorry, i'll be out of town on august 25th' I was dying ! What an idiot !! She claimed she didnt know it was a surprise!
I felt more horrible that my sister was doing so much to keep it secret that I couldnt ACT like I was surprised. Well my sister first acted like I was misreading everything, then she exploded that she was SOOO UPSET...and she said 'sorry, youre going to have to ACT surprised, everything is set'..
So I Felt sick that I had to put on an act... well the joke was on me, my sister CHANGED THE DATE !!
I had NOOO IDEA ! and she really got me. !
I cant imagine what she went through to change the date... God I Love her

anyway, (sorry to go off on a tangent and babble as usual !!)

ooh now it's not a surprise. What resturant in Little Neck? That's where I'm from, but I'll be moving pretty soon. So far mine is a surprise unless FH slips.

It sounds like your MOH or someone might have done something w/ your fitting appt...when my best friend was getting married, her mom called me in hysterics saying she wanted to schedule a hair trial for the day of her shower...I called the salon and told them not to give her an appointment for that day!

And also, be careful if you wear a skirt to your shower...the MOH in the last wedding I was in wore a skirt and since she sat next to the bride while she opened gifts, everyone has a million crotch shots in their pictures!
