I was leaving the mall today, and I wanted to put money in the Salvation Army bell ringer's pot. I reached into a zippered pocket in my bag and grabbed a big handful of change. Just as it was leaving my hand, I felt something that definitely was not a coin and remembered that I keep my classroom key in that pocket. At that point it was too late ~ the key was in the pot. I stood there for a minute and actually considered forgetting about the key and leaving, but I NEED that key... I don't get my last paycheck in June unless I return it.
SO, with great embarassment I had to ask the bell ringer to get it back for me. You should have seen that man laugh!!!
