Yesterday I went again to Leonards to see my room with my girlfriends (one of which also want to get married in Leonards)...when I saw the room again, I wasnt Happpy. I will have Party in the Empire room. I felt that the room was too small ( i will have party for about 70 peps), but in the beginning i did like the room. I dont know what is wron with me. I also saw another room downstairs, with outside area, and that is the room that i really felt in love with, more spacious, but the gurantee its around 110 peps....i dont know what to do... Now i keep looking for another place, with maybe outside, around beach or lake, but it needs to be close to queens no furher than exit 35 in LIE ( I live in uptown brooklyn). Please help me, i think im crazy,,,, what should I do???? I couldnt sleep the whole night because of that, i need to check some other places too.... I need to pay my frirst deposit tim june 1 so i still have some time......HELP!!!!!

Why dont you try Russo's.
I was just in that room last month. I love it. Its beautiful...and there were 100 people or so and it was perfect.

why dont you post a thread asking about places that have a low minimum and checking them out. Im sure girls on the boards can give you alot of suggestions

JT has the penthouse which is a smaller room, alot of girls on here are booked there, not sure about the minimum but i know its usually used for smaller weddings

Westbury Manor and the fox hollow have outside areas. and you can have the Ch & VH outside on there patio

well i went into JT with a 100 person minimum - but once i saw the skylight room i upped it to 150 so i could have it in there
were you limiting yourself to get down to 70? maybe you can work something out with them - by them i meant Leonards!

I was going to suggest JT also bec it has that modern feel to it and very pretty rooms.
Westbury Manor has a 2 really nice smaller rooms and ohh yeah if you are looking for outdoors WM is great for that
I have been hearing about the Inn at NHP, its suppose to be really nice and it may accompany a smaller event.

Are you talking about the manager at Leonards??? He looked like he didnt have time for you? Thats not good

It looked like that, I know it wa 9pm already but i ask him to check if the other room is available and he said that he will call me back tinight or the next day, but it looked more like he was rushing somwhere.... and he was saying that this room needs 110 peps and i have 70.... it seemed that he didnt wanted to worked with me....so i got upset.... ohh i just called russo and the booked for may 24 ..... i really dont know what to do... im very mad....

that's right... i originally wanted may 24th but it was already booked so we opt for the 23rd instead.
when i checked JT in january, it was booked for the whole memorial day weekend but i was looking at the big rooms.

yeah when i booked JT in november most of may was booked...Memorial day weekend was still open bc we were considering it but changed our minds. But like she said this was for the bigger rooms, not sure about their smaller one
