I think I have food poisoning

Last night for dinner I had left over stuffing that FH made. Problem is, it was a couple of days old. It looked, smelled and tasted normal, so I ate it. I woke up in the middle of the night with my stomach all bloated and nausious. I thought it was an IBS attack, so I went to take my medicine and a minute later I was throwing up. I felt the same in the morning but still went to work since I'm giving a midterm thursday and today was the review. But I left early. I still feel very week and all I ate today was toast and that made me sick again. How long does it normally last?

It usually is over within 24 hours. You may have a virus. I hope not!

Did he make with meat? Stuffing won't go bad that quick with just veggies.

Now that I read your entire post....do you have any other symptoms? Maybe you got a virus or worse, the start of the flu.

the flu has been spreading faster than the bubonic plague, it's very possible that you caught the bug! I hope you feel better

I hope its not that!! I have a very busy schedule coming up I'm going to the Hamptons on Friday night for a friends Bday. coming back saturday night. Sunday FH and I are going up to Boston for St. Pattys Day and coming back Tuesday. I cant get the flu

u might have the 24 hr virus. if u have food posioning i had it twice and i throw up for 3 days both times.

Like the previous posters mentioned, it usually takes 24hrs to run its course. Feel better

Do you have a fever? I thought I had food poisoning once, and I had a fever of 101. The doctor said it was a viral infection; if it was food poisoning, there would have been no fever. I think it lasted about 24-48 hours.

I have no fever. I feel slighly better than yesterday. But still a little weak and nausious
