I think I have really lost it

While searching the web for inexpensive organza ribbon for my programs, I found a site that had organza tube ribbon. If you cut off the length you need and sew up one end you can make a little bag. They showed it as a wine bag and I thought it would be perfect for the small wine bottles I am using as favors. I ordered it only to find out that they don't carry it anymore. I went to A&S Novelty today at lunch and they had premade organza bags---the only problem is that they would be $100 more than I was planning on spending. My new idea is to buy organza fabric and make the whole bag myself. My fi thinks I'm crazy and tells me to drop the whole idea. Have I totally lost it? Has anyone seen tube ribbon anywhere?

Papermart has tube ribbon now too.

I think I recall seeing it wrapped around a wine bottle.

So does....

I saw it at one of the shows I went to There was a vendor who carried a small wine bottle wrapped in a tube, with gold edging. She wrapps favors mostly but I asked her about it as an option, cause it caught my eye. I think it was world class stationary, the number is: 516-352-3511 anyway the price she quoted me was $30.00 just for the roll. She had it around personalized wine which I liked. That was $5.00 completely done which was nice it also had a ribbon around the neck of the bottle with names on it. Maybe this helps. Its on Long Island somewhere.

Papermart

Papermart is where I got the idea and they are the ones that don't have it. I got an email from them to tell me that they didn't have it and gave me a customer service # to call if I had any questions. I called to find out if they will get it again only to find out that they NEVER sold it! They put it on their website because they were hoping to be able to get it from their supplier--it didn't work out. Why they didn't take it off the site, I don't know.
