GAS AT MY HOUSE IN TAMPA IS 2.98 GOING ONTO 3.00 AND ABOVE. I WAS JUST WATCHING THE NEWS AND IN PART OF GEORGIA IT IS $5.98 FOR REGULAR.....THIS IS OUT OF CONTROL SOMETHING MUST BE DONE.

It's insane! I saw premium gas (which I have to use) for $3.19 tonight! I am going to have to start biking everywhere.
It makes me glad I booked my HM when I did. Prices went up $80 in one week before I booked. I can only imagine now!

On my way into work this morning, I saw regular gas still at $2.99 but Super was at $3.59!

that's why we need to be taking public transportation more often than not.
I know it's VERY difficult in Long Island to get around, but CAR POOL as much as possible!
Gas prices will lower eventually...it's a cyclical recession...Everything that goes up, must come down!
Europe charges $8-$10 per gallon of gas, since FOREVER b/c their government taxes are SO HIGH....that's why they all take PT and Mopeds and bikes everywhere!

I could not believe that the prices jumped almost $1. in a week. We went into the city & then the Mets game yesterday & on the RR saw prices as high at $359 for REGULAR!

Everyone needs to come together & start that no gas for 1 day. Something has to be done, this is ridiculous!

The gas price by me $3.51 thats crazy. We will have to cut holes at the bottom of the cars soon and do like the flintstones if it does not get better.

Tell me about it I never paidd $44 to fill up my tank and I have a 6 cylinder I feel bad for all those who have SUV's
I know it was like 10 years a go but come on in the 1990's gas prices were normal at like $1.20 $1.30 and it would take $20 to $25 to fill your tank and then I had an 8 cylinder I can't believe this it is really retarted I had an e-mail about that no gas for a day I don't know if I still ahve it but I think the date was September 8th

For some reason, I don't think it will be all that much lower... there is a lot more going on here than the hurricane. Prices were spiraling out of control before Katrina hit, it only sped up the process a little bit. We would have seen these prices in a few weeks anyway.

Seeing these gas prices just makes me want to cry!! It's hard enough paying for a wedding and trying to live on LI, but now it's so expensive to drive too!! I wish FH and I worked the same hours, then we'd def carpool!!
