I think I know when my shower is

Today my sis ( one of my MOH's) sends me this e-mail saying that she is in charge of sending out the invites for her SIL's baby shower and that I am invited. The girl isn't due until July and the shower is the first weekend in April. My sis lives in Viriginia so she tells me she is coming up for that whole week so she will be here until Easter. Does she think I am stupid? If she is here for those two weeks how is she ever going to find time to come up for the shower?! And also her MIL would never put her in charge of the invitations because my sister is not only one of the MOH's in my wedding but she is in two others in the next 6 months! I will feel bad if I am right because they are trying to surprise me. I haven't said anything to my FH yet.

I have a feeling too! I got an invitation to a Christening for March 20 and my sister keeps telling me that she's not going to the church only to the restaurant and that I should do the same. My mother keeps bugging me to RSVP. I feel like a fool rsvping to a christening that is really my shower. I guess I willplay along. The joke is on me if I am wrong!

I know when mine is (so far away! )... through process of elimination.
But i promised to look surprised... i have no idea where it is, and FH says its really cool! i can't wait!!!

But can you imagine when you get those parties and they are the actual parties - LOL ....

That's what happened to me. I was invited to two birthday parties in January (a 30th and a 40th). I thought the 30th Birthday party was for me, because everyone was talking about it and it was someone close in FH's family - so I thought it had to be.

As for the 40th Birthday party I honestly thought it was a 40th Birthday party, but when I walked in they screamed SURPRISE!!!
