Do these 2 hair colors look the same?

I would describe the first one as dark brown and the second one as black with some red highlights.

to me they do.
its just that the light is showcasing the 2nd pics highlights. but you can see there is some highlighting in the 1st pic - but her angle is different.

Yea, the lighting is totally throwing me. Plus the M/U offsets the hair color. I'm no help!!

I think they look alike.
Like you said though--the lighting and angle are different, so it's kinda hard to tell...

I'm getting color and a cut on Saturday.
I just want to do one color. I am so tired of spending an insane amount of money on highlights.

me too!
I do NOT want to see any red either. I am so OVER the redness.
I want like 2 shades darker than my natural. Bright, clean, etc.

It's the lighting of each pic, but the first one has more red in it

i agree, they basically appear the same. I think it's the lighting.
