I think I might be getting.....

BABY FEVER!!!

Can you believe it? I don't know if it's just a passing thing, but suddenly this whole week I feel so much more open and excited about the idea of having a baby! I have been SO undecided and definitely more a NO than a maybe or a yes. Every time I would think about having children, all I could think about was the down-side, the pregnancy, the painful labor, the sleepless nights, having no life to speak of anymore. Suddenly I'm starting to see the positives, too! I don't know what is changing...

The only thing I can think of is that I just finished making a cross-stitch design for my friend who is having a baby in six weeks, and I also bought some scrapbooking supplies to make a scrapbook for her. Now I feel like I want to keep the scrapbooking stuff for myself!!!

I also realized that I will be 35 next August, and if I ever want children, the time is now.

Other than that, I'm not really sure what could have caused the sudden change of heart!

I told my DH that maybe we can start trying around June of next year.

Let's see how long this Baby Fever lasts....

I can totally relate about catching some Baby Fever ... especially being a lurker on this Board. I wish you luck in whatever decision you make!

Thanks! Well our friends baby is due is six weeks. They will be living next door to us. So after my DH and I get a good look at how the new baby changes our friends lives (although I already have experience with this from my niece and nephew), I think we'll be in a better position to make up our minds once and for all!

My DH has never been around an infant for more than an hour or two. He might change his mind!!
