Well I am big into art. Mostly Art Nouveau and Early Impressionists but I still love folk art. Something about it makes me feel warm inside. I mean I traveled six hours once to see a Grant Wood exhibit in DC to see regionalism at its best.
Anyway I found these on ebay BIG DISCOUNT because no one is collecting stuff anymore. I mean look at limited.. closed down because no one wants to collect anymore. I have about 30 halloween dept. 56 houses i payed a arm and leg for that are worthless now IoI
Anyway if we don't use one of them as a cake topper we are both displaying them at the wedding somewhere.
The only thing that bugs me is the guys tie and cumberbun are pink and I HATE PINK so i may have to destroy the statue as much as that kills me and paint over it green to match the wedding.

I think it's beautiful, and I share your feelings for pink...I would just paint over it.

That is so cute! Am i wrong for not having a cake topper. My florist is doing an S curve up the cake. My FM is saying I should have one.

It dosne't have to be on top of the cake. you can place it in front of the cake on the table. thats what were probably going to do cause I want flowers on top of it

Yea i might do them on the side if i just do the flowers on top of the cake. I am not a fan of cake toppers lately but if these happen to work then i am doing it.
I love this guy.. i want to buy every piece from his collection and actually i got another piece just now. He does disney stuff too.

I like the couple, but I am a big fan of pink. I would leave it. it might add a little color to your cake!

true then gain i could not to a great paint job. I showed my mom since i didn't go to class yet ( skipped my first class today) she LOVED it. Now i told her once i get the figures if they are nice i may buy some more cause i love this guy.

No stone with resign. They look like wood though.. originals are wood then molded for reproduction i think.

I just searched all of ebay's cake toppers dismorning!! i never thought i would go for one but recently me and hubby thought it would be a way to add our personality to the wedding. we are going to pick something less traditional and funny for the cake topper.
the one you found is absolutely beautiful!!!
