I think I need to cancel my wedding.....

Original post by Lsorrent

I just told FH that Shopper's Village is reopening, and his response:

What's Shopper's Village?????

I was like ARE YOU KIDDING?

He apparently was a deprived child. I'm going to have to take him once it reopens

Ok for all of you Suffolk people......( )

Shopper's Village was an indoor flea market. A lot like Tri-County. But better because they had The Pickle People (a vendor dedicated solely to pickles....and they are the best pickles on LI).

Yes it will be where National Liquidators was....as a matter of fact, that's where it was in the first place before they closed and Liquidators opened.

And Erika - I totally forgot about Gold Coast!!!! My sister used to take me there all the time!

what the heck is shoppers village?

OMG you too!?!?!?!?!

Shopper's Village was an indoor flea market, like Tri-County, that used to be on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead. If you know where the huge National Liquidators is (was, now out of business), it used to be in that building before they made it National Liquidators.

When I was a kid, it was the first place I was allowed to go shopping with just my friends and no parents.

hahaaa!!! i had something like that by me....it was called 'Merto Mall' or something. It was on union turnpike in floral park. My friends and I would hang out there all day

Count me in... didn't know about it. BUT...we had something like it in Brooklyn... Ceasar's Bay Bazaar. So I can appreciate the comeback.

Thank God it was a joke though.. LOL
