It is really bothering me that I paid close to $800 for 125 encore invites. I already have them so what is done is done. I love them but can't help but think that I went over board. Can anyone ease my mind that this wasn't too much and that is what encore invites cost...
I don't think you paid too much... .I paid about 2K for my invites and I got less than you...but I loved them and they set the stage for your upcoming celebration.
Enjoy them and don't stres!

the quote i rec'd for invites i like was around 1K; i did have sticker shock & didn't order them...wanting to shop around (praying i can find something similar for less) ...i don't think you overpaid if you love them. Think of it that way to keep your sanity

$500 (with tax and shipping) for 110 Pocketfold invites.
Don't worry about the $800, it seems to be about average :)

i don't even want to say how much i am paying for 170 invites --it is crazy --i am picking them up this weekend and hoping that i love them!

I'm only spending a few hundred dollars. but a friend of mine spent $3K.
it's a matter of taste, and how much you want to spend.
IMO, they should be nice, but at the end of the day, it's paper that most people will throw out.

I paid $850 for 150...but i love them! I couldv'e spent alot more too if I got the ones I REALLY loved!

I'm glad I liked 'cheap' ...nah...I don't like the way that sounds...'inexpensive' (yeah better...) invites. Your invites are beautiful though. Isn't it crazy what they charge us once they hear wedding....

I am paying $960 for my encore invites. If you like them don't worry about it, especially that you already have them. Encore invitations are just expensive--I even tried to go w/ the simple encore but it turned out to be just as much. Be happy!

STOP yourself now! You love the invitations, you spent the money, just keep loving them and don't look at invitations or prices anymore. You will drive yourself mad and you need all your sanity for the rest of the planning.
My advice is to simply enjoy them (they are beautiful!) and move on to your next task.

Encore is a very expensive invitation company, but you can be sure that the quality will be excellent.

Ugh... FH wants to spend about $1,400.00 WITHOUT the flowers and ribbons we'll add AND without postage...It's making me sick just thinking about it- I don't care that they're 30% off at $1,400.00 enough is enough with these wedding expenses- I can't deal!
