I think Im changing my theme

the favors ordeal was so hard...

We finally agreed on a favor, we both like it. It's simple and easy.

But it's asian. So are the colors I've moved to Claret/deep red & gold because of my rose.
(from yellow to red tips)

With all this Red & Gold..

I think im dropping my fall theme and going Asian.

I love the asian theme idea! You could give out little bamboo plants as favors! (I originally wanted to do this, but it didn't work with my theme.) Oooh - you could do so much with an asian theme, and I love how red and gold looks together!

FYI....I was searching google last night and found that some websites had the asian theme in terms of vases for flowers, etc. I will try to find them again for you

I definately dig an asian theme.....and asian weddings are very beautiful & meaningful. You can also have a lot of fun with the decorations & the food & such.

Oh, and you can even get personalized fortune cookies, if you wanted.

We are trying to save money and cut corners so the personalized cookies are an option depending on Cash.

We plan to have chopsticks for our favors with red & gold covers.

I'll see if I can find the pic again.. I posted it on BHB.

I just need to find an appropriate guestbook. I really dont want the red with gold dragons. I was thinking more of a bright gold with red chinese script.

that is sooo awesome i went from an asian theme to a fall theme....

here were some of my ideas i was going to do

1) Fortune cookie on ea. plate that made a comment like...You will be dancing all night, and you will talk to the person on your right and you will have a fun evening....

2) Souveners was going to be either silver fortune cookie or a chineese take out box filled with tea bags or choc. dipped fortune cookies,

3) sushi bar....but was too expensive : (

4) Chineese lanterns with lit candles as centerpieces

5) chopsticks to be used with cookies (for a laugh)

6) the girls were going to have what looks like silver chop sticks in their hair

7) i was gong to give away fans and dance favors...but that wasnt good to do in November .... : (

8 ) the girls would wear either all red or all different vibrent dresses on their choice

i can go on and on you can FM me if you want more ideas...
