I think Its about time I turn into a BRIDEZILLA

I have been very patient with the RSVPS until today. I am still waiting on 100 people to get back to me... SERIOUSLYYYYYYY. What is so hard about checking off yes or no and mailing it back with the self addressed, pre-paid envelope. I gave everyone 5 weeks to respond and FH said maybe that wasn't enough time... REALLLY?!?!?! People need more time than that to see if they are free that day... PS WE SENT OUT STDs a year ago.

I hear ya. Friday is my respond by date and half haven't responded yet. And it's mostly my side!! I'm freaking out that I won't meet my minimum, and it's only 100.

I know it's frustrating. You will most likely get a bunch during the week of the RSVP date. For the rest of the nonresponders, you will have to hunt them down for a response. People are just too involved with their own life to understand this is important to us.

My Min. is 110 and so far we have 74. Fingers crossed we meet our min too... especially since we upgraded our room.

Response date is today so we will see. I'm giving everyone an extra week due to the holiday weekend before I start making harassing phone calls. I hope and pray there is a pile of little envelopes waiting at home for when I get out of work.

My RSVP date was during a week while I was away. I was missing 50 responses and I hoped to come back to all of them. Nope, I came back to three!! I was furious. The RSVP date was almost a month ago and I still get a few here and there. After tracking people down, I still have a few that said they would get back to me and never did and my wedding is 2 and a half weeks away. It's so frustrating!

Beyond frustrating! I had to track down people also and mothballs month AFTER my RSVP date we are still waiting for a cpl of responses. Those we never heard from we just put them down as no. I refuse to keep calling/texting people who can't respond. If I were you, I wouldn't even give it a wk... I would start contacting people now!

I plan on doing the same thing. I told our families I am not calling and calling and texting and emailing people harassing them to see if they are coming. I will count them as NO and if they show up to the wedding.. let them stand there for a few mins in embarrassment.

I hope they just show up so the BM can tell them there is no dinner for them.

That's funny that your RSVP date was today too and we are date twins. My huge pile turned out to be 2 envelopes Hahahahaha. We only invited our family and very close friends so we too are waiting on aunts, uncles and cousins to respond and we can't assume they are yes either.

I feel your pain. I posted yesterday my drama. I plan on taking a day off after my RSVP date to call, text, and FB everyone. My family has a fundraiser at the end of this month I will be asking those who didn't respond to respond in person. I really don't want to chase people but it seems as if I do... the minuses of planing a wedding. Also your OOT guest may not understand how important it is to RSVP. My mom's college roommate told her a story how she didn't rsvp to a wedding and the bride told her, 'I'm sorry I don't have a seat for you.' So my mom asked me did she rsvp yet. I told my mom no. Lesson not learned.

Great minds think alike! Sorry that you only got two yesterday. I would give it a few days because some people probably put it in the mail yesterday bc it was the date. I got a voice mail las night from a friend saying she was putting it in the mail today.
