I think Misiu is sick- Update

The past 3 days he does not want to eat his food (I feed him Royal Canin dry food only from Petco), he has had a slit case of diarhea and he vomited brown water twice. (brown from the food).

Even his behavior, I give him his food and he smells it then starts to scratch the floor around the bowl, like he is trying to dig it up. He has also been meowing for no reason, just standing around and meowing, he doesn't really meow often.

Let me explain his eating habits since I got him.

When we first got him he would eat a large sum then leave some for later. Then he started eating the whole portion I gave him.

Now he eats I would guess around 10 pieces of the dry food, maybe less. Since I am at work I'm not sure exactly, but when I come home the bowl looks pretty full.

Has anyone experience any of this?

After writing this I realized what if indeed it is the Poinsetta?

Before I found out they were poisonous to animals we took a picture of him next to one and he quickly stuck his head in and smelt the dirt, not sure if he ate anything for the quick 10 seconds his head was in there.

Or could he possibly licked the floor underneath the poinsetta? Would that scent attract his nose to lick it?

Poor Misiu.

Misiu ate almost all of his food from this morning and his poop wasn't so 'loose'.

I think he is getting better ladies.

Glad he is doing better!

My cat does the same thing where he meows for no reason - but he's always done that. It's the only time he meows at all....and he's actually doing it right now....
