he called me yesterday and wanted to meet me for lunch at work . so he came we had a good time and he was like we should do this once a week ..awwwwwwwww i think he misses me

that's so sweet...he sounds like my dad. he calls me at work and when i answer the phone with 'Hello, this is xyz,' he goes: This is your daddy! Just calling to say I love you! He never used to do that....

Aww..that's awesome. Whenever I call my dad it's like I can't get him off the phone which I love actually. I love my dad.

i thought it was just me! my DH works until midnight Mon-Wed so i have dinner with parents so i'm not home alone. and when i leave to go home my dad always gives me a big hug and refuses to let go! i think it's so cute!!! he makes me wanna cry every time though cause he says 'i'll never get used to my baby leaving'. Dads are the cutest!!!!

I am all teary eyed now..that is awesome for all of you. My dad calls me MAYBE once every 3 months. We bought a house in April and he still refuses to come see it....

haha! my MIL called us the other day to tell us she is going thru withdrawal about not seeing DH everyday!
parents are so funny...they complain about you when you live at home and then when you leave, they miss you!!!
