it's not even a real office! I work for this company that buys out hobby shops and peoples personal collections of model trains, they bring it back here, we photograph it and use a program to list it for auction on Ebay...
my job is performance based, I can earn more than my base salary if I list above what they require an hr (they like 15 auctions an hr so if I do more, my pay goes up)
ETA: I chat for all of 5-10 minutes and the rest of the time I'm glued to the friggen computer....it's so boring!

If you can 'afford' to look for another job then definitely do it. Most of us are at our jobs for most of our day and you don't have to love it, but you shouldn't be miserable.

i'm bored with my job also so i went back to school..i got into a program where the hospital pays for me to go and i have to work for them for 2 years after..who cares..so long as i don't have to pay for school..maybe you should look into something like that..

Why not start looking for other teacher's asst. positons? Now that you're a little settled, there shouldn't be too much pressure.

You made the right move by taking the first available decent paying job after you re-located.
