I think my mom is planning my shower

yesterday she told me she is going to macys with my dad after work today which is strange bc she always wants me to go to macys with her. Then when I mentioned I might want to go with her, she got all nervous and made up some excuse how I don't need anything from there so what's the point of going. Then i caught her looking over at my brother's gf and shaking her head...

She's also been on the phone with my aunt a lot lately and when I ask why she called, she's like 'ohhh just to say hi' but my mom is never so vague, she always gives me details....

I'm excited that she's prob planning it, I want to be surprised but at the same time i'm such a sneaky detective

Oh Maggie that's so exciting!! I pryed a little too much and found out . . . I felt bad afterwards. But I was so overwhelmed even knowing about it, that if I hadn't known I'm afraid how I would have reacted.
